The subject of this diploma thesis is to analyze the current system of quality management in manufacturing company of automotive industry. The thesis explores the quality of the production in the firm Johnson Controls. It describes a current situation of the quality management, identifies weaknesses and through the detection of causes of poor quality it suggests appropriate solutions. The main aim of the thesis is to offer the management new measures to improve the quality of production and to recommend an adapted supplier evaluation system that will reflect the actual business requirements. The thesis also gives an overview of the author - an impartial person unaffected by the work process. Because the internal data provided by the management of the factory are confidential the thesis hides the correct naming of data and other facts to maintain the anonymity of the company and its employees.

The major goal of this work is to define and analyze the basic parameters influencing the guarantee expenses. Firstly the company Škoda auto, a. s., the location where the thesis was written, is introduced as the most significant concern focused on export in the Czech Republic with its activity in the area of quality control. The theoretical part of this work also concerns with quality. The work further deals with the situational analysis of Škoda Servis department. Conditions of guarantee according to rules of law and particular conditions of guarantee for individual model car series Škoda with the process of transaction of guarantee and goodwill the financial expenses stem from. In terms of analysis of all parameters, recognized data and graphic representation of time progress the arrangements are suggested against the rising tendency of expenses development for defect and their economical evaluation.
Certifikace ISO 9001 malé firmy

The diploma thesis is focused on issue of implementation and following certificate ISO 9001 effectiveness in a small company which is concerned with cleaning services. The company has applied certificated system of leading quality ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 since 2007. The aim is also to show what the company had to fulfil to keep and develop the certificated system. The important part of the norm ISO 9001 is a labour protection. The knowledge described in specialized literature about modern system of leading quality and measurements in management quality systems was used in my diploma thesis. I also gathered information from the norms of Czech standards institute. The contemporary analysis of leading quality in PULI s.r.o. is described in the practical part of the diploma thesis. The case study examines the system of leading quality by questions and answers. The last chapter is focused on the form of financial measurements in management quality system. The aim of the last part of the diploma is to summarize what the management quality system has brought what the present state is like and finally yet importantly is its farther development.
Controlling ve výrobě

This thesis deals with the subject production controlling of the company. The goal of this work is to describe this subject in theory and then to focus on production controlling in the company Faurecia Interior Systems Bohemia s.r.o. The case study is focusing on relations of financial results and production results. In the theoretical part, the description of controlling is performed. Then there are made deeper analyses of the subject production controlling. Production controlling ensures planning and production process overview. Further it provides management of the company with fundamental information about production and support managment decisions. Understanding of production controlling allows management to influence and manage the production processes. This is a cornerstone of the success of all production companies. In the practical part was made a case study of the company Faurecia Interior Systems Bohemia. There is setup a sample production line with machines, workstations and material flows. According to achieved production results there is represented an impact on company financial results. This impact is demostrated on comparison of calculations (preliminary, operating and final calculation) and monthly following of the results. In the end of the case study there are mentioned proposals to improve the production and financial results.
Daňová optimalizace výnosu z přímých zahraničních investic v České republice

The main purpose of the diploma thesis is analyzing fundamental methods of tax optimization of gain/yield on foreign direct investments in the Czech Republic using the principles of international taxation. The thesis consists of two basic parts. The first part deals with the theoretical principles of international taxation of corporate income. The second part of the thesis is its crucial part. The second part deals with the particular methods of tax optimization in detail, primarily for the investments in the form of a financial institution. Economic assessment of analyzed methods is based on its application on a model company ? a bank with key financial figures similar to the Czech branch of German Commerzbank. Based on the ascertained results methods which may have a positive effect on a tax liability of a potential investor (for example a method of financing a subsidiary via loan) were identified. Methods which would not have any positive impact on a potential investor were also identified and described simultaneously.

This diploma thesis describes principles of the tax decrease processes for corporations using legal and financial structures of countries with specific advanced tax legislation suitable to effective tax optimalization and tax planning. Describtion of the globalization effect to the international tax competition and detailed list of offshore and onshore jurisdiction used for advanced tax planning is essential part of the text. Design of the tax effective holding structures and the comparision between traditional business structure and holding structure baed on tax shelter country demonstrates advantages of the tax shelter holding structure.

This thesis on "Impacts of tax treaties with Germany and Austria to business sphere" aims to analyze factual differences of agreements for the avoidance of double taxation with Germany and Austria and describes their practical impacts on taxation of individuals and legal entities. It also focuses on the environment for German and Austrian corporate investors in the Czech Republic with the result of favourable conditions on the Czech market for German and Austrian companies during reinvestment of their profit by using low taxation. However factors such as instability of the Czech tax system and poor functioning of tax administration are for many companies a strong argument against entering the Czech market.

Recommendation to continue in selected indicators monitoring - ?passed? to producer.

The practical part is focused on the company KORUND BENÁTKY, s. r. o., more precisely on quality of Silicon Carbide in the company. There are reported production processes and procedures from this area. Consequently there are suggested several measures for improvement of this area. The above mentioned data are further complemented by necessary theory about Silicon Carbide and basic information about the company.
Optimalizace logistických toků ve firmě Tratec-CS, s.r.o.

The aim of my diploma work is the optimalization of inventory level in limited liability company TRATEC-CS. The crucial task was dismemberment of material supplies according to quantitiy of consumption in production by ABC analysis. Then I suggested to particular type of material diffrent inventory systems. The biggest attention I paid to materials, that are included in category A. This materials are most widely used in production and company expend high costs on them. All inventory related costs of TRATEC-CS I described and exactly calculated. In subsequent chapter I was concerned by computation of optimum order quantity of material in category A. Due to this calculation I could also determined amount of costs on particular material, delivery cycle, annual quantitiy of delivery, turnaround time and turnaround speed. In concluding part of diploma work I compared actual and suggested methods of inventory systems, that caused reducing of inventory costs.
Optimalizace procesu sanace na ložisku Stráž

The mining of uranium ore in the Stráž area was proceeded by two totally different methods. It was the conventional deep mining method and newly so-called chemical leaching method was used. Huge ecological weight originated on the Stráž deposit in consequence of thee chemical leaching operation - 4,9 mil. tons of contaminants in the subsurface aquifer. The remediation of ecological weight is a complex problem that is related to many branches of science. The special processes and the simulation tools were developed in DIAMO for finding of the optimal solution of the remediation process. Special mathematical simulation software is used in these variants. The procedure of searching for the optimal solution is described on two real remediation variants. Their results are compared according to the technological and economical evaluative criteria. The most successful scenario defines more effective technological procedure and it is chosen for another variant examination.

This graduation theses is about personnel management the company Škoda Auto a. s. The company is aimed at the area of recruitment, which are the enrollment, acquisition and selection of a staff. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part implies the issue in common forms. In the practical part I analyse the present condition of personnel management in the company Škoda Auto a. s. The short acquaintance with the history of the company, with the sphere of its business and its organization structure precedes to the analysis of the issue. Next I specialized on methods, which the company exploits when need engage vacancy. And on the end of my work I focused on Global Assignment of concern Volkswagen. In conclusion, the system of the acquirement and taking on of new workers in company Škoda Auto a. s. is evaluated and the possible improvements are suggested. And next is summarized here questions of Global Assignment of concern Volkswagen.
Podpora rozvoje průmyslových regionů v severních Čechách

In this diploma thesis I focused on the old industrial regions in the Northern Bohemia. The aim of this work is to analyse the current situation and try to propose some possible ways of development of the industrial regions view to the Podkrušnohorská basin. In the theoretical part of the thesis I mention some general characteristics and importance of the industrial manufacturing in the Podkrušnohorská basin. The proces of evaluation of the industrial production itself is based on the grounds of the SWOT analysis where I comment on strong and weak aspects of the industrial production and also its threats and opportunities. Furthermore I draw my attention to the topic of revitalisation of the old industrial regions with the help of enterprise activities which mean the main power for the development of the structurally disabled or economically behindhanded regions. I also give a notice to the development of enterprise activities with the help of creation of new industrial zone. This should contribute to attract attention of significant stakeholders who will be able to reduce the unemployment rate in the region. In the final part of this diploma thesis I propose some other possible solutions which could contribute to the development of the old industrial regions in the North of Bohemia.
Použití FMEA jako preventivní opatření vzniku vad a nežádoucích nákladů

The object of my bachelor thesis is theoretical and practical introduction of FMEA method. As a typical preventive method it is a very important tool used for fault prevention and for unwanted costs reduction. The theoretical description of FMEA was the first topic I tried to concentrate on. It is nascency, utilization and development of FMEA. In my practical part Iuused the opportunity to describe specific process in company I work for. Delphi puts great effort in FMEA formation and updating. It is important not only for internal use. The FMEA is significant in external audits which are provided by prestigious audit companies as well as customers. FMEA is created not only for new projects, but it is obviosity to keep FMEA updated for current projects. It helps mainly at new product development to find weak points and reduce contingent risks. FMEA is also important in process optimalization and error rate reducing which manages decreasing quantity of rejected products, accompanying transport costs and allows continuous production and subsequent delivery to the satisfied consumer. The satisfied consumer is not only the target of FMEA processes but of all the company. The benefit of FMEA is evident and it has great influence to company reputation.

The subject of the diploma thesis ?Value added tax and customs issues in the international relations? is the application of procedures for international business transactions from tax and customs point of view. The first part of thesis sets out the legislations which provide for the VAT and customs under the European and Czech law. The second and third chapters deal with the clarification of the basic terms used for the area of VAT, customs and customs procedures. These basic terms are important for understanding of the further chapters of the diploma thesis. The fourth part focuses on the detailed description of the procedures of individual international business transactions, as required by European and Czech law. The last chapter is focused on the practical implementation of the procedures for the business transactions in the international relations.

The Diploma Thesis is devoted to the Transfer pricing issues, whereby the Transfer Pricing terminology is defined, furthermore the passages from Czech and multinational legislation are presented and the different transfer pricing methods together with their possible usage are described, especially with ragards to rendering services. Finally, there is describtion of the transfer pricing document and usage of transfer pricing methods. The work is divided into five sections, first two sections is basically a theoretical description of the topic stated above. Third section comments the actual situation and development in the transfer pricing area around the world throught Ernst & Young Survey. Last two sections demonstrate an example of transfer pricing documentation.

Diploma thesis with title {\clqq}Implementation issue of integrated packet of managing norms to the organization`` deal with particular parts of management systems analysis and their integration and problems with implementation to organizations. There are specified basic terms about quality, environment and safety and persons health prevention at work in theoretical part. There are also mentioned basic principles of particular management systems, their position in trade environment, defined integration of these systems and introduced basic principles of methodology at their implementation. Case study describes process of integrated management system implementation to the Kališ & Krátkoruký, spol. s r. o. company considering company´s position in trade environment and original situation of quality management before integrated management system implementation and detailed process of implementation of integrated management system to the organization. In the end of the thesis are defined major company problems with emphasis on ensuring and permanent improvement of implemented management system, schemes for improvement of integrated management system standard and economic evaluation with integration findings summary.
Proces uvolňování prvních vzorků v Continental, s. r. o.

Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo systémově ošetřit proces uvolňování prvních vzorků komponent vstupujících do výrobního procesu firmy Continental. Podnětem pro tuto práci byly neshody, nesrovnalosti a vzájemně se prolínající zodpovědnosti jednotlivých oddělení do výše jmenovaného procesu zainteresovaných. Výsledkem diplomové práce je návrh interní směrnice vyjasňující proces uvolňování a především jednoznačně určující přesná rozhraní mezi zodpovědnostmi jednotlivých oddělení.

This thesis concerns problems connected to quality management based on ISO standards, specifically ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008, in the Agropodnik PLC Jičín, Kovos branch. The theoretical part explains terms such as quality, quality management, quality management systems, historical evolution of quality management, particular concepts of quality management including their comparison, concept of ISO standards, ČSN EN ISO 9001:2008. The practical part consists of an analysis of the Kovos branch, previously an independent company, now after its liquidation a part of Agropodnik PLC and gives a complex overview of this branch after its transformation in 2009. The outcome of the situational analysis is the identification of a specific dysfunction including a proposal how to make the area concerned more effective and the economical evaluation of the renewal of certification by the certification authority Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance.
