The main goals are the dissection of the existing situation in this firm, concentration to the chosen problems and finding out the weaknesses. In the theoretical part a general conditions for activities in the Transport Branch and other theoretical premises to the practical part are defined. In the introduction of practical part the basic information about the firm and the present situation will be presented. The next chapter is addicted to the problems of employees in the transport. Within the frame of this chapter the economic comparison of possibility using outsourcing or a special employer will be done. In the last chapter of practical part the financial situation of the firm will be analysed. The analysis will be done by means of chosen absolute and financial ratios. In the conclusion part the present situation of the organisation will be interpreted and a general view of its management will be administrated.

It presents readers with the widely accepted and used terminology of personnel management from both the literature and practical experience in personnel management in the insurance company. The first part focuses on theoretical questions of the problem. It is stated how the personnel work should be carried out. The theoretical part is drawn from the literature focusing on the general development of human resources management - especially in companies. From the theoretical part, the work moves on to the practical part, which compares the specific work of personnel management in financial institutions - insurance companies with human resources management as described in the literature. The aim of this work is based on available information, theoretical and practical knowledge concerning the evaluation of methods and procedures used in personnel work in the reserve fund. The thesis also suggests some ways to detect and propose measures for improvement. Suggestions for improving the quality of personnel and activities in the insurance and the overall assessment and comparison of theory and practice are addressed in the conclusion of this thesis.

- ItemAnalýza trhu práce v Libereckém kraji z pohledu personální agentury Personal Consult(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2009-01-01) Semrádová, Pavla; Švermová, PavlaIn the beginning of my diploma work I specified the reason why I chose this theme and the purpose of my work, which is strengthening of the position of Personal Consult against the competition in Liberec region and the suggestions of the solution of the effects of the financial crisis. In the first chapters I focused on the theory, which is closely connected with working in personal placement services. At first I tried to highlight the importance of work of personnel officers and describe appropriate personal constitution of a company. Then I described the process of choosing and acquiring of the employees. An appropriate application of these actions is very important for employees of personal placement services. Practical part is, as it was written before, about Personal Consult. I compared obtained theoretical findings with an actual activity of the company. At the end I tried to suggest some solutions for improvement which may lead to better financial results and help to reduce effects of economic crisis, which affect Personal Consult.
- ItemCestovní ruch krajů České republiky(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2010-01-01) Švejdová, Šárka; Švermová, PavlaThis graduate thesis is about the present state of tourism in individual regions of the Czech Republic. It introduces various projects of tourist industry in individual regions of the Czech Republic and then analyses success rate of these projects, respectively the number of visitors. On the basis of the obtained information, this thesis rates the most and least successful regions. The main part of work consists in the situation analysis from which follows the SWOT analysis of the weakest regions. It specifies present problems of tourist industry in the regions into the future and then attempts to outline suitable steps to increase popularity of the regions and consequently the number of visitors and income from tourism. At the end an economic analysis of one of the proposals is performed.
- ItemCorporate Social Responsibility of Companies Producing PFOA Containing Waxes for Cross-Country Skiing(MDPI, 2020-06-24) Švermová, Pavla; Černík, MiroslavThe chemical industry is a particularly sensitive sector that very often works with toxic, harmful and dangerous substances. This paper offers insight into the corporate socially responsible (CSR) behaviour of a specific segment of the chemical industry—the production of fluorinated ski waxes. Perfluorinated compounds, which excel in water and fat stability and repellency, are nowadays considered as harmful to human health and nature. During 2020, the basic compound, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), will be banned, and finding its replacement will be a difficult task. So far, there are no alternatives in terms of environmentally friendly compounds that can maintain the desired properties of extreme ski glide. Based on a questionnaire distributed to twenty wax producers worldwide, we have concluded that, although the attitudes of companies towards CSR certification was rather negative (87.5%), and companies had not developed or documented any CSR policy/strategy with specific goals, they found CSR activities/instruments beneficial and important. The survey highlighted the fact that companies were aware that their products are dangerous for the environment, and that environmental issues are important for all of the responders, despite them being mostly without certified systems. The size of a company had no significant effect on their attitude. Micro and small producers were involved in raising awareness of environmental policies and responsibilities to the same extent (maybe even more) as medium or large companies. We also found varying behaviours between companies involved in environmental programs and those who were not. The companies involved felt a strong attitude towards all three pillars of CSR, which are the environment, as well as social and economic aspects. Those companies not involved had a strong attitude towards their customers, but not towards their employees, suppliers or the wider community. They also had stronger feelings about the quality of their products and economic profit, but without a strong approach to the related environmental issues. The Norwegian approach and the commitment of the company Swix to CSR are two positive examples leading to a fluorine-free future.

The main objective of this work is to determine the attitude of firms and their access to the idea of promoting diversity in its workplace and find solutions for those companies that have not yet understood the concept of diverse teams. This work is divided into four chapters. The first part is devoted to the theoretical foundations described in the literature, explains the basic knowledge and understanding that are necessary to deal with the issue. Next chapter is already based on the practical component. The second part of this work is focused on the analysis of the current situation in the company Škoda Auto, a. s. The following chapter is devoted to finding the current situation of companies in the field of diversity and summarizes the results of the studies.The last chapter contains a proposal for a solution to remedy the situation.

The purpose of this thesis is to map the current situation of waste management in two selected villages. However, this thesis is not about finding solutions for generation of communal waste. The analysis outlined several possibilities for future development of waste production in these villages and the costs that counties would have to probably spend on estimated municipal waste disposal. Estimation of possible future developments took place on the basis of available information from the past as well as the development of waste production in the Czech Republic and other administrative-territorial units (region,county).
- ItemEkonomické zhodnocení malé vodní elektrárny v Pardubickém kraji(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2011-01-01) Zemanová, Pavlína; Švermová, PavlaThis thesis is focused on general characteristics of the renewable energy sources, especially hydropower. Its objective is to evaluate the economic and partly environmental benefits of these resources with a primary focus on production of electricity by small hydraulic power plants. At first it deals with different types of the renewable energy sources, other chapters are focused on hydropower. It describes the main features of energy of water with the detailed characteristics of the operation of small hydraulics plants, next there is defined the legislation of renewable energy sources in the Czech Republic and the European Union and its financing. The last part of the thesis evaluates the economy of a specific small hydroelectric power plant in Pardubice Region (MVE Slatiňany Podskála) and effectiveness of investments into the reconstruction.

Transition, which is not only possible, but it is also exceedingly up-to-date. On the one hand stand aspects pointing to disadvantage of fossil sources, on the other hand stands Renewable Resources of Energy, which are basically inexhaustible and continue to renewing. I pointed out alarming after-effects in case of following on using fossil sources in such a measure as up to now and also the possibilities of Renewable Recources are described, in the Czech Republic and in relation with national economy and environment.
- ItemEnvironmentální management firem v Libereckém kraji(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2009-01-01) Tůmová, Kateřina; Švermová, PavlaProblémy životního prostředí a udržitelného rozvoje jsou řešeny na celosvětové i regionální úrovni. Za posledních 30 let došlo ke značným zlepšením dopadů na životní prostředí, stále však dochází ke zhoršování některých aspektů. Environmentální managament je management činností podniku, které mají vliv na životní prostředí. Environmentální manažerský systém je součástí řídícího systému podniku a využívá jeho organizační strukturu, činnosti, postupy, procesy a zdroje ke stanovení, provedení a přezkoumání environmentální politiky podniku. Nejběžnější metodou jak dosahovat neustálého zlepšování EMS je cyklus plán - realizace - kontrola - zlepšení. V Libereckém kraji se povědomí firem o environmentální problematice pomalu zlepšuje, přibývá i počet podniků se zavedeným systémem environmentálního managementu, zejména v automobilovém průmyslu.
- ItemExpected net present value – instrument for profitable investment(Technická univerzita v Liberci, Česká republika, 2011-01-01) Švermová, PavlaVýznam výzkumu, vývoje a inovací si uvědomuje v současné době každý podnikatelský subjekt soupeřící na trhu o konkurenční výhodu. Zde stojí hypotéza: "Společnosti znající metody pro oceňování technologií mají pozitivní ekonomické výsledky". Tento příspěvek je zaměřen především na oblast ekonomiky obnovitelných zdrojů energie, resp. na ocenění vybrané technologie v této oblasti. Nejprve je v úvodu zmíněn proces průmyslového výzkumu a vývoje; následuje výčet možných metod, pomocí kterých lze ocenit různé technologie a v závěrečné části je naznačen konkrétní reálný příklad ocenění projektu malé hydraulické vodní elektrárny. Byla zvolena metoda ENPV (zahrnující rozhodovací strom, pravděpodobnost a čistou současnou hodnotu); v příspěvku jsou uvedeny čtyři možné scénáře. V závěru byl vybrán ekonomicky nejvýhodnější scénář a hypotéza byla potvrzena.
- ItemForecasting - nástroj snižování kapitálu vázaného v zásobách(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2012-01-01) Kubík, Tomáš; Švermová, PavlaThe main content of this thesis was to examine impact of the forecasting to the state and structure of inventories in company ETA a.s. As a tool was used forecasting module called Planning Wizard. This module is applied for more effecient inventory management. Using of Planning Wizard required its consistent implementation which is described in this thesis. There are also explained complications that accompanied the implementation and their solutions. As a measure of importance and relevance of forecasting the situation in ETA a.s. can serve as the comparison in terms of inventory before, during and after implementation of Planning wizard. Emphasis is placed on capital, which has been released by reducing the value of inventory, while service level remains the same. The thesis is written from position of employee in ETA a.s. who operates Planning Wizard.

Theoretical part defines institutional and legal framework and describes gender budgeting process, which introduces with different approaches how to apply it. Practical part of the project is fixed with public research results, which analyses inequality issues between men and women according to set standards, approach of public and recognize possibilities of both genders in a set situation. Results of questionnaire can help in another studies, specially in case of wages situation and quality women a men in society.
- ItemGender mainstreaming v ČR a ve vybrané zemi EU(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2011-01-01) Košková, Lenka; Švermová, PavlaSubject of the thesis, "Gender mainstreaming in the Czech Republic and selected country of the EU" is an analysis of the promotion of equal opportunities for men and women in the labor market of the Czech Republic and Sweden. The purpose of this analysis is to compare gender differences arising in those two countries and identify their possible causes. The first part defines basic concepts and the legal establishment of equality between men and women in the EU. The second and third part determines the development and promotion of equal opportunities within each country's labor market. The fourth section analyzes the causes of differences arising. The analysis outlined several possibilities for future development in the promotion of equal opportunities.
- ItemGender v managamentu vybraných japonských společností na Liberecku(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2011-01-01) Slezáková, Kateřina; Švermová, PavlaThis thesis deals with the dilemma of gender in managament of selected japanese companies in Liberec area. The theoretical part at first points to Japan mentality, Japan´s system of supervision, further develops term of discrimination. The practical part deals with the concreate research of employing man and woman business managers in the managament of selected japanese companies in the industrial area Liberec ? South. The thesis shows that employing of entirely man managers is sort of standard which Japanese definitely carry over into their international branch offices. Representatives of the companies, human resourses managers, expressed dispproval with the selected theme. Some of them even named it as controversial or unseemly specified. This attitude of theirs consequently led to the complicate communication and cooperation. The form of electronic questioning was used to accomplish the data collection. The recommendation to improve attitude towards employing of woman managers are proposed on the basis of made analyze and the research results.
- ItemHospodářská geografie krajů České republiky(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2010-01-01) Brožová, Jana; Švermová, PavlaThis thesis is devoted to the estimation of fourteen regions of the Czech Republic. First, the regions were generally characterized. Then an economic analysis and a briefly comparison of the region with each other were realized. The following part encloses the strongest Czech firms and branches they are concerning with. The third part of the work compares the regions from the point of their economic indicators since 2003. Further, the regions are valued in light of SWOT analysis - their Strenghts or Weaknesess, Opportunities and Threats. On the basis of these analysis, the five regions, which are the weakest, are chosen, for that there are suggested solutions for their repair in the last part. At the end of this work, the two proposals are chosen, which are financially evaluated.
- ItemHospodářská politika České republiky v porovnání se zeměmi EU(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2008-01-01) Řehořová, Daniela; Švermová, PavlaThe Czech Republic has a small and open economy that due to its geographical position has been influenced by the economics of other European countries. It has been empowered by joining the European Union structures and adopting the EU´s rules. That means that its economic prosperity depends not only on regulating its own economic policy but also a necessity to converge the economy to the of other EU´s countries. The Czech economy is currently in a solid but long term unsustainable growth phase. As a consequence of demographic changes, the growing needs of the public health services and educational system has led to a growth in state debt. Once the Czech economy absorbs or depletes the financial benefits of the current boom, there is a danger that this debt can stifle the economy leading to a recession. A recession could then prevent the fulfilment of the convergence criteria for adopting the Euro and make any subsequent reforms all the more painful. The experience of both "liberal" Ireland and "social-democratic" Sweden in recession followed by their gradual climb back to economic prosperity does show us that there is in principle only one right course for economic policy to take in such circumstances regardless of the ideological view of the government. The economic policy of the Czech Republic for the next 3-5 years should take a path of huge fiscal restriction with special focus on state budget expenditure. Such reforms should lead to sustainable fiscal consolidation and enable later economical stimulation with tax modifications. In contrary, monetary policy could stay neutral and should focus mainly on targeting the inflation. When the decision making process is blocked due to political stalemate in the Parliament, reforming effort often loses momentum and eventually stops. Here we can think about alternative methods of economic policy making. One of the possibilities is creation of an authority independent on election cycle and responsible for formation of fiscal policy according to specific targets, as well as is central bank in monetary matters.

Information systems and technology serve for many purposes in companies but they still have one thing in common ? they should bring a competitive advantage. This demands that the systems innovate and change together with changes the companies environment. The aim of my diploma work is to show the present insufficiency in the company´s system suggest and a solution to remove them; first of all by introducing a new information system. Then I will focus on questions in the logistic area that is not functional in the company at present. The work is divided into 4 parts. The beginning of the work deals with the company´s introduction and the selection of a new information system called AX. In the theoretical part, I focus on how to proceed when choosing a new information system and its implementation. Both choosing and implementing should be divided into phases. In the practical part I describe the present state of the company and a way to remove deficiencies. The final part I dedicate to the contribution in all of the areas of the company by the new system and subsequently a logistics improvement process suggestion.

Nezapomínejte, že všechno nemusíte zvládnout sami. Stačí vědět, čeho chcete dosáhnout, co potřebujete, koho potřebujete a případné chybějící dovednosti můžete poptat například u šikovného vývojáře webových stránek, studenta se zájmem o marketing a sociální sítě, či u marketingové agentury. Díky rostoucímu zájmu o tyto znalosti, roste i jejich nabídka a určitě vás potěší, že klesá zároveň i jejich cena. Pořízení e-shopu, pěkných webových stránek či placené reklamy na internetu již není záležitost v řádech desítek tisíců určená pro velké firmy, ale běžný komunikační nástroj dostupný i pro začínající firmy.
