    Analýza rozdílů v socioekonomické úrovni jednotlivých oblastí Libereckého kraje

    This dissertation is focused on regional development and concentrates on Liberec region and its regional socioeconomic disparities. It describes basic theories of regional development with emphasis on theory of learning regions. Explanation of regional disparities and description of some tools of regional policy follows. Then there is the description of actual situation in area of regional disparities in Liberec region and analysis of causes of them. With regard to defined economically weak areas of Liberec region, PESTEL analysis was carried out. Each area of this PESTEL analysis consists of description of general situation in region and then it focuses on economically weak areas. Based on results of PESTEL analysis, theory of learning regions is applied on Liberec region.

    Antidumpingová opatření v členských zemích WTO s implikací pro podnikovou sféru

    This thesis is focused on dumping, anti-dumping proceedings and anti-dumping measures. Dumping is one of the most frequent causes of international conflicts resolved by World Trade Organization (WTO). First of all this thesis introduces issue of international trade area, especially liberal and protectionist trade policy, WTO functionality and dumping as a special type of international price discrimination. Then there is closely analyzed process of anti-dumping proceedings by which are assessed provisional and definitive anti-dumping duties or adequate commitment which covers damages created by dumping import. Furthermore there is analysis of current situation in anti-dumping proceedings and measurement areas from 1995 to June 2011. Last part of this thesis deals with cases of specific companies which export their products at dumping prices. Negative impacts on the economics of companies of European communities? importing market were recognized in these cases.

    Aplikace principů trvale udržitelného rozvoje na dobrovolný svazek obcí Broumovsko

    Subject of the Diploma Thesis is application of sustainable development principles to Voluntary Association of Municipalities Broumovsko. In the first part there is gathered process of human approach to environment and theory of sustainable development. In next part there is specified area and shortly gathered history of this area. The vastest part of the Thesis is devoted to application of separate sustainable development principles to area in view. Development options are being searched according separate principles. On the basis of area development options analysis has been made collection of introduction, which could be a way to reach of sustainability. In the last chapter of practical part there is proposed a collection of indicators, by which means it can be evaluate fruitfulness of proposal actions. This Thesis should be engaged as an inspiration for searching of sustainable development options of Voluntary Association of Municipalities Broumovsko.

    Approaches to delimitation of regions: administrative versus functional regions

    Článek se zabývá důležitou součástí hospodářské politiky, rozvojem regionů. Aby mohly regiony využít veškerý svůj vnitřní potenciál, je důležité jejich smysluplné vymezení. Z tohoto pohledu rozlišujeme regiony správní (administrativní), které jsou rozhodující pro potřeby výkonu státní správy a územní samosprávy, a regiony funkční, které jsou vymezovány na základě funkčních vztahů mezi jádrem funkčního regionu a jeho zázemím. Tyto vazby jsou nezbytné zejména pro potřeby socioekonomické územní analýzy, strukturální studie místních trhů práce a k odhadu regionálních disparit. Jak naznačila následně provedená komparativní analýza situace v Rakousku a Maďarsku, přístupy k vymezení správních a funkčních regionů mohou být různé i v relativně stejně velkých ekonomikách.

    Dotační programy pro podporu podnikání a zaměstnanosti ve Šluknovském výběžku

    Cílem této diplomové práce je nalézt možnosti rozvoje Šluknovského výběžku v oblasti podnikání a zaměstnanosti, a to zejména za pomoci dotací a příspěvků poskytovaných Českou republikou a Evropskou unií. Nejprve jsou vymezeny teoretické pojmy týkající se dané problematiky a popsán historický vývoj Šluknovska. Následující část je zaměřena na analýzu trhu práce ve Šluknovském výběžku a rozbor potřeb a zkušeností zaměstnavatelů s dotacemi na zaměstnance a podnikání. Na základě všech zjištěných informací je vytvořena SWOT analýza Šluknovského výběžku a představeny návrhy, které by mohly přispět ke zlepšení hospodářské situace regionu.

    Finanční krize let 2008 - 2009 a její dopad na firmy dodávající do automobilového průmyslu

    Presented thesis deals with evaluation of impacts of the world financial crisis of the years 2008 and 2009 on companies supplying to automotive industry, in this case TRW Automotive Czech s.r.o. and Mecaplast CZ s.r.o. Starting point of the thesis is analysis of historical aspects of financial crisis and comparison of potential repetitive patterns and processes. Also is discussed the role of International monetary fund during the crisis, followed by evaluation of the impacts of crisis of the years 2008 and 2009 on Czech Republic, European Union and United States of America, as these are considered as the originator of the financial and crisis and depression. Key part of the thesis is analysis of the crisis impacts on the companies TRW Automotive Czech s.r.o. and Mecaplast CZ s.r.o. with analysis of the factors which affected crisis impacts on the companies.

    Hodnocení efektivity vzdělávání zaměstnanců ve vybraném podniku

    Cílem této práce je analyzovat systém vzdělávání zaměstnanců ve společnosti Com Plus CZ, a.s., identifikovat případné nedostatky a následně vytvořit návrhy opatření. Úvodní část diplomové práce postupně popisuje všeobecné řízení lidských zdrojů, význam vzdělávání zaměstnanců a v neposlední řadě systematické vzdělávání zaměstnanců. V následující části jsou teoretické poznatky a dostupné firemní materiály využity pro charakterizování společnosti a navazující analýzu vzdělávacího systému prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. V samotném závěru práce jsou prezentovány výsledky šetření a z nich plynoucí návrhy a doporučení, jejichž následná realizace povede ke zlepšení situace v dané oblasti.

    Kartelové dohody mezi firmami a jejich vliv na podnikatelské prostředí v rámci Evropské unie

    Diplomová práce se zabývá kartelovými dohodami uzavíranými podniky na trhu s cílem omezit hospodářskou soutěž. Firmy se prostřednictvím tajných dohod pokouší vyhnout vzájemnému konkurenčnímu boji a zvýšit svůj zisk. Důsledkem tohoto jednání je jak narušení přirozeného soutěžního prostředí, tak finanční ztráty způsobené ostatním soutěžitelům, spotřebitelům či státu. Jinými slovy, tyto dohody nepříznivě ovlivňují národní i evropskou ekonomiku. Na základě provedeného teoretického exkurzu jsou jednotlivé typy dohod včetně jejich ekonomických důsledků rozebrány nejdříve v obecné rovině. Tyto poznatky jsou následně aplikovány na konkrétní příklady z aktuální praxe, z nichž jsou vyvozeny závěry týkající se dopadů uvedených dohod na trh, konkurenty či spotřebitele. V práci jsou řešeny konkrétní ukázky dříve existujících kartelů a je rozebrán jejich vliv na konkurenční prostředí či spotřebitele v rámci EU. Objasněny jsou také důvody vedoucí soutěžitele k uzavření kartelové dohody, ale na druhou stranu též příčiny, proč se tyto dohody po delší době zpravidla samy rozpadají. Práce dále analyzuje výši finančních sankcí udělovaných Evropskou komisí s cílem zabránit tomuto nekalému jednání.

    Komparace sociální politiky České republiky a Dánska se zaměřením na finanční zatížení firem důchodovým systémem

    This thesis deals with the issue of pension systems finances, namely in the Czech Republic and Denmark. Both pension systems are analyzed primarily in terms of construction, the pillar structure and funding methods. This is followed by the mutual comparison of both schemes focused on a financial burden imposed by the pension system on business sector. The comparison based on secondary data from year 2008 finds out, which one of considered pension systems imposed a relatively lower direct financial burden on business sector. This finding is further supported by the results of comparative analysis of business model based on economic data from 2010.

    Kvalita a rozvoj podnikatelského prostředí na Liberecku

    Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu podnikatelského prostředí na Liberecku. První část práce se v teoretické rovině zabývá specifikací podnikatelského prostředí jako celku, nadefinováním jeho jednotlivých složek, a rovněž přináší přehled o možných přístupech zkoumání podmínek pro podnikání či druzích podpory podnikání. Následující část pak hodnotí podmínky pro podnikání nejprve v rámci některých oblastí utvářejících celkové podnikatelské klima v ČR, a dále konkrétněji zkoumá vybrané faktory ovlivňující podnikatelské prostředí daného regionu. Součástí analýzy je dotazníkové šetření mezi podnikateli, jehož prostřednictvím jsou zjišťovány názory, zkušenosti či znalosti podpory podnikání podnikatelských subjektů působících v okrese Liberec. Závěrem je provedeno celkové zhodnocení všech zkoumaných faktorů. Stěžejní je identifikace hlavních problematických oblastí, kterým je třeba v budoucnu věnovat pozornost za účelem rozvoje a zvyšování kvality podnikatelského prostředí na Liberecku.

    Lidské zdroje a konkurenceschopnost regionu se zaměřením na Liberecký kraj

    The main aim of the thesis is to explain and analyze the Liberec region's ability to compete in the terms of human sources. In the introduction I explain what the region's ability to compete is and describe the key factors that affect it. Characteristic of the labour market and human resources follows. Major attention is paid to unemployment and its types. Next part focuses on the actual analysis of the issue in the Liberec region. First, the current situation on the labour market (particularly in terms of unemployment) is described and explained. An analysis of the human resources quality, measured by the achieved level of tertiary education and the choice of studied fields follows. The structure of graduates in single fields is compared to the needs of the labour market. Discrepancies are identified and discussed, including their possible solution.

    Potenciální dopady současné hospodářské krize v České republice

    This thesis deals with the problematic of the economic and financial crisis and studies its impacts on the Czech Republic. In the introduction there are definitions of the basic terms, theoretical solutions for the causes of the origin of the financial crisis and the most important economical crisis in the history are presented. The second part pays attention to the causes, course and impacts of the economical crisis in the USA. Also the impacts of the crisis on the Europe and selected states of EU are presented. The final part is focused on the influences of the financial crisis in the Czech Republic. From the results it reveals that the most significant impacts of this crisis were on the industrial (automobile and building) and mortgage markets.

    Přeshraniční spolupráce na příkladu Česká republika - Svobodný stát Sasko

    The graduation theses deals with theme of cross border co-operation with the concrete target on czech and saxon border region. The aim is to give comparative view of use and benefits of programs Interreg IIIA and Objective 3 and the possible cross border co-operation future. The first part refers to the essential cross border co-operation definition, its historical context and relevance in European Union policies. The second part presents the subvention for cross border co-operation in term of single instruments with the detailed description of Interreg IIIA and especially Objective 3. The third and fourth parts the analyse is done, conretely for czech-saxon datas and consequently further analysis of czech supported territory. The last part compares movings in both programs, attends to sketch of the possible cross border co-operation future and brings view on the chance of new program for the future programming period.

    Přímé zahraniční investice a jejich důsledky pro region

    Předkládaná diplomová práce s názvem ''Přímé zahraniční investice a jejich důsledky pro region'' má za cíl analyzovat a zhodnotit vliv vybraných přímých zahraničních investic na okres Louny se zaměřením na mikroregion Podbořansko, prostřednictvím rozboru údajů o konkrétních firmách z průmyslové zóny Alpka. Práce je členěna do šesti kapitol. Přímé zahraniční investice, jejich příčiny vstupu a dopady jsou teoreticky nastíněny v prvních dvou částech této práce. V dalších dvou kapitolách je pozornost věnována okresu Louny a průmyslové zóně Alpka s cílem provézt socio-ekonomickou analýzu této oblasti. Pátá kapitola se zabývá konkrétními přímými zahraničními investicemi, které jsou lokalizované v průmyslové zóně Alpka. Poslední kapitola hodnotí komplexně důsledky těchto investic pro oblast Podbořansko a celý okres, se zvláštním důrazem na regionální trh práce. Na základě provedené analýzy stavu realizovaných investic jsou v této kapitole nastíněny návrhy a doporučení týkající se hlubšího propojení přímých zahraničních investic, průmyslové zóny a regionu.

    Přímé zahraniční investice v České republice - Investice do průmyslového podniku

    Předmětem této diplomové práce je analýza přímých zahraničních investic (PZI) v České republice. Pro analýzu je zvolen německý investor, který chce investovat do průmyslové společnosti, která bude vyrábět svařované komponenty pro automobilový průmysl. Budou zde představeny možnosti, jak investici realizovat a na základě vyhodnocení kladů a záporů jednotlivých možností bude zvolen nejlepší způsob provedení investice. Na základě sestaveného strategického plánu pro investici bude proveden finanční rozbor a zhodnocena možná rizika, která mohou investora v budoucnu ohrozit.

    Programy podporující rozvoj venkova v České republice

    This Bachelor Thesis on the theme {\clqq}Programs supporting rural development in the Czech Republic`` is focused on supporting of rural development with the European Union sources and national sources. The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the importance of regional policy of the European Union and the Czech Republic in context of rural development. Another aim is to describe particular aims and tools of the support. In the Bachelor Thesis there are structural funds mentioned, then state structure in different categories, and programs and financial support which are used by country-side like the tools of its development and also their alocation for targets setting. Part of the thesis is also application of this topic for the present situation of Kralovehradecky region and {\clqq}LAG Hradec countryside`` which is situated in this area. There are concrete requests for support and dotations mentioned at the end of the thesis which Microregion Urbanicka brazda asked for in 2009 and examples of realization and also suggested projects in the same year.

    Řecká dluhová krize: příčiny, důsledky a potenciální rizika pro ČR

    The goal of the master thesis "Greece's Debt Crisis: Causes, Consequences and potential Risks for the Czech Republic" is to analyze all aspects of the debt crisis, which began in Greece in the years 2009-2010 and consequently turned into a crisis of the whole European Monetary Union. Another goal is to define, whether the unification of heterogeneous European economies in a single currency union can be considered one of the causes of the crisis and to evaluate the desirability and possible variations of future continuation of the European integration process and to estimate the implications of the crisis for the Greek, Czech and European economy. The first chapter describes the Theory of optimum currency areas, which is closely related to the main topic of this thesis. The second chapter provides a brief characteristic of the Greek and Czech economy. The third chapter is concerned with the causes and course of the crisis and finally the fourth chapter analyzes the consequences of the crisis.

    Regional disparities across Europe: future perspectives of regional development in England

    Příspěvek seznamuje s pohledem na regionální disparity v evropském kontextu s důrazem na podmínky regionálního rozvoje v Anglii. Obecný pohled na problematiku regionálního rozvoje přináší tři skupiny indikátorů, ekonomické, sociální a územní (teritoriální) soudržnosti. Jako příklad ukazatelů pro hodnocení územního je představena tzv. regionální klasifikace Evropy zpracovaná v rámci programu ESPON. Hlavní část příspěvku seznamuje s přístupem k regionální politice a k řešení rozdílů mezi region v Anglii a hodnotí budoucí perspektivu vývoje v souvislosti se zrušením regionálních rozvojových agentur a založením uskupení tzv. Místní podnikatelské spolupráce (partnerství). V závěru jsou shrnuty poznatky vyplývající z analýzy přístupů k otázce řešení regionálních disparit na mezinárodní i národní úrovni. Příspěvek vznikl za podpory projektu zaměřeného na problematiku regionálních disparit „Inovační přístup k řešení disparit na úrovni regionů“ pod akronymem InoReDis (Reg. č. WD-30-07-1).

    Rizika v mezinárodním obchodě: dopad na hospodaření podniku

    This thesis deals with the issues of the risks of international trade, of which impact is in the practical part applied to a specific enterprise. Specific risks which could lead from trading with foreign entities are analyzed in detail. Subsequently, an analysis of ways how to secure them is demonstrated. In the introduction of the practical part, enterprise Trevos is introduced and all means, which this enterprise uses to minimize the impact of risks are characterized. Furthermore, the thesis deals with exchange rate risks, which affect the activity of enterprise Trevos, but against which they are not secure in any way. Model case is created, under which is calculated profit or loss related to exchange rate fluctuations, at first assuming that this move is not secured in no way and then that it is secured by currency forward. The results of both calculations are compared and based on findings the ways of solutions are proposed to enterprise Trevos.

    Role WTO při řešení mezinárodních obchodních sporů

    This thesis deals with the WTO dispute settlement mechanism which is an important part of this organization. WTO highlights the speed of the dispute settlement process but this work shows that the average length of the dispute resolving in which the European Union participated between 1995 and 2010 was much longer than 15 months, the time the WTO considered normal for dispute resolving. The thesis also analyzes the impact of the sugar reform which the EU had to implement in 2006 as a result of the lost case with Australia, Brazil and Thailand. The reform was about subsidies for sugar. The reform had a significant impact on sugar production and export of all concerned. The reform also had an impact on the Czech Republic which is a traditional producer of white sugar. Following the reform the Czech Republic?s quota for sugar production was decreased thereby reducing production and export of sugar. Several sugar mills ceased its activities and the number of sugar beet growers was limited. The reform also had an impact on the Czech distillery.
