Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou jednorázových plastů v souvislosti s globálním plastovým znečištěním. Jejím cílem je demonstrovat dopady plastové produkce a zamyslet se nad efektivitou současných řešení tohoto problému. První kapitola pojednává o teorii Gaia a konceptu antropocénu ve vztahu k problematice plastů. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje jednorázové plasty a dopad plastového znečištění demonstruje na konkrétních příkladech. V závěrečné podkapitole je pozornost věnována efektivitě recyklace jako jednomu z předkládaných řešení plastového znečištění.
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of single-use plastics in connection with global plastic pollution. Its aim is to demonstrate the impact of plastic production and to consider the effectiveness of current solutions to this problem. The first chapter deals with the Gaia theory and the Anthropocene concept in relation to the plastics issue. The second chapter characterizes single-use plastics and demonstrates the impact of plastic pollution with specific examples. In the final subchapter, attention is paid to the efficiency of recycling as one of the presented solutions to plastic pollution.
