Abstract
V diplomové práci se zabývám specifickou oblastí umění, jakou je současné umění v sakrální architektuře, jejíž smyslem je především snaha hledat nové cesty k setkávání, diskusím a zamyšlení na poli sdílené kultury. V teoretické rovině tedy sleduji některé soudobé umělecké intervence v této oblasti a současně v prostoru římskokatolického chrámu navrhuji a vytvářím uměleckou instalaci zaměřenou na téma umění a transcendence, jako interakci fyzické stopy konkrétního pochopení prostoru z doby minulé a současné.
In my diploma thesis I deal with a specific area of art, such as contemporary art in sacral architecture, the purpose of which is primarily to seek new ways to meet, discuss and reflect on the field of shared culture. On a theoretical level, I follow some contemporary artistic interventions in this area and at the same time in the space of the Roman Catholic church I design and create an artistic installation focused on the theme of art and transcendence, as an interaction of physical traces of concrete understanding of space from the past and present.
