Abstract
Diplomová práce pojednává o strukturálních fondech, pomocí kterých je možné získat finanční prostředky na rozvoj regionů. Jsou důležitým nástrojem a součástí evropské politiky hospodářské a sociální soudržnosti. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou jednotlivých strukturálních fondů, definuje strukturální a regionální politiku a vymezuje podmínky, které je nutné splnit. Praktická část je zaměřena na aplikaci evropské pomoci v České republice. Práci uzavírá případová studie projektu nazvaného Dny vědy a techniky, jehož realizátorem je společnost Caneton, s. r. o.. Smyslem projektu je informovat širší veřejnost o vědeckých objevech, atraktivní formou přiblížit vědu k lidem a upozornit na její význam v naší společnosti.
The Diploma Thesis deals with the Structural Funds that can help to get financial support for development of the regions. That important instrument is a part of the European economic and social cohesion policy. The Thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part characterizes each of the Structural Funds, defines the structural and regional policy of the EU and conditions that are necessary to fulfill. The practical part is concentrated on the application of the European support in the Czech Republic. The last part of the Thesis deals with the case study of the project called Science and Technology Days that is organized by Caneton, s. r. o.. Its main sense is to inform general public about science and new discoveries, to approach science to people and remind its importance for our society and for development of our country.
