Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá literárními díly Já truchlivý bůh, Nikdo se nebude smát a Žert Milana Kundery a jejich stejnojmennými filmovými adaptacemi. Na začátku práce je krátce představen život a dílo Milana Kundery a také komplikovaný vztah mezi literární předlohou a její filmovou adaptací. Dále už se práce zaměřuje na naratologickou analýzu výše zmiňovaných děl, na způsob jejich převedení na filmové plátno, na změny motivické struktury a další posuny, které s sebou tato transpozice přinesla, i na jejich sémantické důsledky. Zejména jde o motiv paradoxnosti lidských činů související s motivem neschopnosti člověka řídit svůj život. Tyto dva motivy se týkají všech tří děl. V literárním i filmovém díle Nikdo se nebude smát díky nim navíc dochází k destrukci mýtu, zde nazývanému mýtus svobodné vůle. V Žertu se přidává destrukce mýtu komunistického. Analýza způsobu destrukce výše zmiňovaných mýtů je hlavním tématem interpretací.
This thesis addresses the works I, the Mournful God, Nobody Will Laugh and The Joke written by Milan Kundera and their film adaptations of the same name. At the beginning, the life and works of Milan Kundera are briefly introduced, as well as complicated relations of literary originals and their film adaptations. Next, the thesis focuses on the analysis of storytelling of the works mentioned, on the way they were transferred on the movie screen, on the shifts of thematic structure brought by the transfer and the semantic consequences. Especially, the thesis deals with the motive of paradoxical results of human actions related to the motive of human incompetence of control his own life. Those two motives relate to all three works. In both the literary and film work Nobody Will Laugh is also being destroyed the myth called the myth of free will. The Joke adds the destruction of myth communism. The analysis of mechanism of myth destruction is the main subject of the interpretations.
