Abstract
Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza teorie nacionalismu v podání Ernesta Gellnera, ve které vysvětluje, za jakých podmínek nacionalismus může vzniknout a jak se poté dále vyvíjí. Druhá část práce se zabývá typologií nacionalismu právě z pohledu E. Gellnera. Závěrečná část práce je potom zaměřena na komparaci s dalšími dvěma teoriemi nacionalismu, a to konkrétně s teorií E. J. Hobsbawma a B. Andersona.
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze Ernest Gellner's theory of nationalism in which he describes consequences under which nationalism may arise and how it is then further developed.. The second part will discuss the typology of nationalism from E. Gellner's point of view. The final part of the thesis will be focused on a comparison with two other nationalist theories, namely with the Hobsbawm's and Anderson's.
