Abstract
Tato práce je věnovaná studiu šachu. Snaží se přiblížit funkce šachových figur, jejich vzhled, z čeho se taky odráží praktická část. Na základě těchto studií je vytvořená kolekce osmi oděvů, složená ze čtyř dámských a čtyř pánských. Každý oděv co nejvíce znázorňuje jednu vybranou šachovou figuru, má individuální charakter a svým vzhledem odráží podstatu a funkci jednotlivých figur.
This work is devoted to study of chess. It seeks to bring closer the function of chessmen, their appearance, what is also reflected in practical part. Based on these studies was created the collection of eight pieces of clothing, consisting of four women and four men. Each dress represents one of the selected chess figures as much as possible, has an individual character and its appearance reflects the nature and function of individual figures.
