Abstract
Hlavním cílem práce bylo identifikovat jednotlivé modely alternativní péče o seniory v USA a zjistit jejich charakteristiky, které se staly podnětem k nalezení možných inspirativních řešení v otázce implikace modelů mimoústavní péče o seniory v ČR.Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem alternativních modelů péče o seniory v USA. Pomocí obsahové analýzy a metody nabalování byly v teoretické části zkoumány vztahy pojmů a témat z rešerše odborných zdrojů, které byly následně kvantifikovány a promítnuty do celého textu práce. Na základě sestavení tematických celků byl postupně naplňován cíl práce, a to prostřednictvím popisu modelů alternativní péče v USA. Z tohoto důvodu se autorka diplomové práce v závěrečné kapitole věnovala stručnému popisu modelů péče komunitního bydlení a domácí péče během stávající transformace sociálních služeb v ČR. Závěrečná zjištění a možnosti modelů péče v USA lze vnímat jako doporučení pro implikaci modelů komunitní a domácí péče o seniory v ČR. The main goal of this thesis was to identify individual models for alternative care of seniors in the USA and to establish their attributes, which would become an impulse to find possible inspirational solutions in relation to the issue of suggestion of models of non-institutional care of seniors in the Czech Republic.This thesis is focused on the topic of alternative models of care of seniors in the USA.On the basis of a content analysis and using the snowball method, the theoretical section examined relations between concepts and topics resulting from research of in advance selected and given research sources, which were subsequently quantified and projected into the entire text of this thesis. By assembling thematic groups, the goal of this thesis was gradually fulfilled by description of models of alternative care of seniors in the USA. For this reason the author devoted the final chapter of this thesis to a brief description of models of care provided by community housing and home care during the on-going transformation of social services in the Czech Republic. The final findings and options of models of care in the USA can be perceived as a recommendation for suggestion of models of community and home care of seniors in the Czech Republic.
