Abstract
This diploma thesis pursues the impact of sustainable mobility on a supplier within the automotive industry. The aim of the thesis is to propose a production program that meets changing conditions in the industry based on the assessment of alternative engine production impacts on a particular supplier. The thesis presents strategic management and the impact of innovations on a company's success. Furthermore, it elaborates the reasoning behind the increasing importance of sustainable mobility with an emphasis on the e-mobility. Furthermore, the impact of e-mobility on the automotive industry and threats connected to it are researched. The associated company that was used for cooperation is situated in Liberec district and this study suggests a sustainable production program which is compared to the current production program not only from an economic but also an environmental view. The sustainable production program differs from the program currently in use in a heterogeneity degree because it combines the production of parts for various types of engines. When comparing both production programs from an economic view by return on costs, the current production program represented by diesel parts ranks as the better option. When taking into account the impact of the program on the environment comes unambiguously a more suitable sustainable production program because it fulfils the principals of sustainable development. Despite the expected lower returns on costs, is to the company suggested to start with a shift towards the sustainable production program. Through this initially translates will the company start production of the perspective parts diversifying the risk when it would produce only components for combustion engines.
