Abstract
Diplomová práce pojednává o nezaměstnanosti v České republice a faktorech, které ji ovlivňovaly v letech 1993 - 2008. Vysvětluje model trhu práce, definuje druhy a příčiny vzniku nezaměstnanosti a způsoby jejího měření. Nezaměstnanost je zde posuzována z pohledu úrovně dosaženého vzdělání, věkové struktury a regionů. Jsou analyzovány souvislosti s hospodářským cyklem, mzdovým vývojem a inflací. Teoretické informace jsou čerpány zejména z makroekonomické literatury, časové řady a další údaje poskytl Český statistický úřad a Ministerstvo práce a sociálních věcí. Vývoj nezaměstnanosti a ostatních ukazatelů jsou zpracovány do grafů. V úvodu byly formulovány 2 hypotézy, které jsou v závěru verifikovány.
This thesis deals with unemployment in the Czech Republic and the factors influencing it from 1993 - 2008. The labour market model is described, types and causes of the origins of unemployment are defined including methods of measurement. Unemployment is here viewed from the point of view of levels of education attained, age structure and region. Relationships between the economic cycle, salary development and inflation are analysed. Theoretical data has been drawn from the literature of macroeconomics, time series and further information provided by the Czech Statistical Office and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The evolution of unemployment and other indicators are worked into graphs. The Introduction outlines two hypotheses, which are subsequently verified in the Conclusion.
