Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dnes jedním z nejpopulárnějších oděvů - džíny. V teoretické části je popsána jejich zajímavá historie, výroba denimu a kalhot samotných. Zaměřená je také na nový trend ve výrobě - bio bavlnu. Dále jsou pak probrány základní střihy a nejznámější značky. V praktické části jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky marketingového výzkumu, který byl prováděn v České republice a Německu s cílem porovnat nabídky trhu s džíny v těchto dvou zemích.
This bachelor work is concerned with today one of the most popular clothing - jeans. In the theoretical part is described its interesting history, manufacturing of denim and trousers by itself. The work is also directed to a new trend in manufactoring named "bio cotton". Furthermore it goes through basic cutting and most popular brands. In the practical part are evaluated the results of a market research, which was performed in Czech Republic and Germany with the intention to compare market offers of jeans in these two countries.
