Abstract
Matematické soutěže mohou být velmi užitečným nástrojem pro zvýšení zájmu o matematiku mezi žáky a studenty. V tomto článku přinášíme zamyšlení nad pozitivními i negativními aspekty těchto soutěží. Toto je první část ze série článků pojednávajících o matematických soutěžích.
