Abstract
Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu ageismu (věkové diskriminaci) a její prevenci. Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížit čtenáři tuto problematiku a zjistit, zdali může být etická výchova na základních školách funkčním preventivním opatřením vůči ageismu. Bakalářská práce se skládá z teoretické a empirické části. Část teoretická se zaobírá základními pojmy a tématy, které s ageismem a zaměřením celé práce souvisí. Jedná se o témata stáří a stárnutí, diskriminace, věkové diskriminace a prevence. Část empirická je tvořena průzkumem, který byl realizován prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření na dvou základních školách. Dotazníkové šetření je v empirické části vyhodnoceno a výsledky základních škol jsou porovnávány. Mimo to je provedeno seznámení s průzkumnými otázkami, technikou sběru dat, průběhem celého průzkumu, a to včetně charakteristiky zkoumaného vzorku. V posledních kapitolách bakalářské práce jsou zodpovídány průzkumné otázky, stanoven závěr práce a zmíněna navrhovaná opatření.
The thesis studies the topic of ageism (age discrimination) and its prevention. The aim of the thesis is to provide the reader a closer access to this topic and to explore whether ethical education in elementary schools may serve as a functional preventive measure against ageism. The thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part considers basic terms and topics related to ageism and the focus of the entire work. It is concerned with topics of old age and aging, discrimination, age discrimination and prevention. The empirical part consists of a survey which was implemented by means of a questionnaire survey at two elementary schools. The questionnaire survey is evaluated in the empirical part and the results of both elementary schools are compared. In addition, the reader is introduced to the survey questions, the data collection technique, the course of the entire research, including the characteristics of the researched sample. In the last chapters of the thesis, the survey questions are answered, the conclusion of the work is determined and the proposed measures are mentioned.
