Abstract
V dnešní společnosti se objevují témata, která se dotýkají velkého množství lidí, ale jsou natolik citlivá, že ačkoliv jsou aktuální, stále se o nich málo hovoří. Jedním z nich je problematika sebepoškozování. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, co vlastně člověk, který sám sobě záměrně ubližuje, potřebuje a zda mu současná sociální práce dokáže nějak pomoci. Popisuje sebepoškozování, vybrané metody sociální práce a pojmy související. Analyzuje data získaná kvalitativním průzkumem a pomocí nich hledá vhodné metody sociální práce pro práci s osobami, které sami sobě ubližují, a odpovědi na průzkumné otázky.
In today's society there certain topics that affect a large number of people but are so sensitive that they are often neglected, despite their relevance. One of these topics is the problem of self-harming. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine the needs of people consciously involved in self-harm, and discover whether today's society can even offer them sufficient help. This thesis presents a definition of self-harm, specific social work methods, and other relevant terminology. It also features an analysis of data from qualitative research, which is then used as a basis for finding new methods of working with people who self-harm. An additional aim of this document is to determine the answers to exploratory questions.
