Abstract
Roku 2001 se zde odehrálo poslední fotbalové utkání. Stavba usnula spolu se svou lokalitou odkazující na slávu dob minulých, kdy na utkání proudily desetitisíce lidí. Ze slavné historie sportovního areálu zbyl jen opuštěný stadion, chátrající bazén a oplocená díra v zemi jako vzpomínka na zimní sportoviště. Jednou by se zde mohly zase otevřít brány pro díváky, v novém stadionu. A nebo taky ne.V současnosti je území bez vize a koncepce uprostřed města s velkým potenciálem díky dostupnosti centra skrze park Lužánky a návaznosti na arboretum Mendelovy univerzity. Silná historie a výrazné tvarosloví vybízí k ponechání stávající formy stadionu s novou náplní pro dlouhodobé smysluplné využití.Cílem práce je najít možné alternativní řešení sportovního areálu Ponava s využitím stadionu respekující potřeby města.
In 2001, the last football match took place here. The building fell asleep together with its location, referring to the glory of times past when tens of thousands of people went to see the match.All that remains of the famous history of the sports complex is an abandoned stadium, a dilapidated swimming pool and a fenced hole in the ground as a reminder of the winter sports ground. One day, the gates for the girls could be reopened here, in a new stadium.Or not.At present, the area is without vision and concept in the middle of the city with great potential thanks to the accessibility of the center through the Lužánky Park and the connection to the arboretum of Mendel University. Strong history and strong morphology encourage to keep the existing form of the stadium with new content for the long termmeaningful use.The aim of the work is to find a possible alternative solution of the Ponava sports complex with the use of a stadium respecting the needs of the city.
