- ItemJablonecký skleněný knoflík ve druhé polovině 20. a první čtvrtině 21. století. Nové výzvy, producenti a design v období socialismu i kapitalismu.Hrušková, KateřinaThe study contemplates the topic of industrial and smallscale workshop production of buttons in the Jizera Mountains, primarily in Jablonec nad Nisou and Železný Brod regions in the period from 1948 till the present, with an emphasis on the transformation of this specific branch of Jablonec costume jewelry as aresult of the nationalization and creation of the state-owned enterprises Železnobrodské sklo and Skleněná bižuterie, and also as aresult of privatization in the early 1990s. The study deals with the entire spectrum of production, from glass to metal to buttons and plastic materials. It deals with the history and production programs of specific enterprises and companies, some of which have not yet been covered sufficiently or at all in professional studies and publications. Two interrelated lines run through the text, namely the continuity of the production of glass buttons in the Jizera Mountains region and the design and fashion changes of buttons. The work is based on the analysis of written and material sources, but also on data obtained in the form of interviews with witnesses.
