Abstract
Cílem diplomové práce je analýza vybraných učebních materiálů pro předmět občanská výchova, vhodných pro druhý stupeň základních škol z hlediska uchopení tématu etnické jinakosti a dalších souvisejících pojmů. Práce zkoumá, do jaké míry a jakým způsobem zvolené materiály pracují s tématy jako etnicita, multikulturní výchova, xenofobie nebo tolerance. Obsahová analýza každého materiálu má dvě části: kvantitativní a kvalitativní. Zároveň bylo zjišťováno, zda materiály reflektují migrační krizi, případně jakým způsobem.
The diploma thesis aims to analyze the selected teaching materials used for teaching Civics, which are suitable for the lower secondary students, in the context of their understanding of the concept of ethnic otherness and other topics related to that. The thesis examines the extent to which the chosen materials operates with the topics such as ethnicity, multicultural education, xenophobia or tolerance and how they work with those topics The content analysis of each material has two parts: quantitative and qualitative. In addition, it also investigates whether those study aids reflect the migration crisis of recent years, and if so, in which way they do.
