Abstract
V této práci se věnuji variačnímu počtu, a to spíše z teoretického úhlu pohledu, než z pohledu praktických aplikací. Jako motivaci představuji několik klasických variačních problémů, které následně vyřeším v poslední kapitole. Hlavní část práce představuje seznámení se se základními výsledky, metodami, důkazy a souvislostmi v oblasti variačního počtu.
In this thesis I deal with the Calculus of Variations from a theoretical point of view rather that from the point of view of practical applications. As motivation, I present several classic variational problems that I will subsequently solve in the last chapter. The main part of the work presents an introduction to the basic results by means of proofs and connections in the field of Calculus of Variations.
