dc.description.abstractTemu has been ranked ninth in the latest 'Top 100 European Cross-border E-commerce Platforms' report released by Cross-Border Commerce Europe (2023). This marks the first time that Temu has been selected as one of the top ten cross-border E-commerce platforms in Europe. In 2023, this Chinese E-commerce company, Pinduoduo Holdings, entered the European market under the name of Temu with low prices, quickly gaining market share. However, this move sparked extensive discussions among many governments regarding data protection and the repression of domestic small businesses.cs
