Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá komentovaným překladem dvou povídek ze sbírky Cuentos de amor de locura y de muerte od Horacia Quirogy. Text práce je rozdělen do tří částí. První část pojednává o autorovi díla, jeho životě a literární tvorbě, dále také o literárním proudu, do kterého můžeme jeho dílo zařadit. Ve druhé části je poté prezentován samotný překlad povídek El solitario a Los buques suicidantes. Třetí, stěžejní část bakalářské práce sestává z komentáře překladu, v němž jsou zmíněny nejpodstatnější problémy, které bylo třeba během překladatelského procesu překonat. Řešení těchto překážek je demonstrováno na konkrétních příkladech vytržených z textu.
The thesis deals with the commented translation of two stories from the book Cuentos de amor de locura y de muerte written by Horacio Quiroga. The text is divided into three parts. The first part elaborates the author, his life, literary work and also the literary movement he corresponds to. The second part presents the traduction of the short stories El solitario and Los buques suicidantes. The third, crucial part of the thesis consists of the commentary of the traduction which mentions the fundamental problems that had to be solved in the course of the process. The solutions of these obstacles are demonstrated by means of concrete examples extracted from the text.
