Abstract
This bachelor thesis includes elaboration of the theme Inspiration of folk costume fromKyjov for jacquard fabrics. A total of six patterns were developed in the EATDesignScope victor software, and three variants from each pattern. All variants fromeach design were realized on a trial basis, and two variants were finally selected foreach design. Tests and realization of patterns were made by weaving technology, specifically on jacquard weaving machine. All final woven patterns have one color, onlysome test patterns were woven in a different color. The final intention was to create acollection of fabrics, which is supplemented with a swatch with color variants andpatterns that did not weave. The color scheme is based on the traditional color scheme of folk costumes from Kyjov, which is still used today. The most used colors on costumes are red and white, so Ichose red and white colors for the final fabrics.
