Abstract
Tato práce si klade za cíl přiblížit každodenní život ženy v domácnosti v 50. letech 20. století. Hlavní pozornost bude věnována procesu stravování v rodinách a všemu, co s tímto procesem souvisí. Práce bude komparovat veřejně přijímaný obraz tohoto procesu i jeho konkrétní podobu v některých domácnostech na základě dobových pramenů a odborné literatury. Součástí práce je i experimentální část, v níž se autorka pokusí připravit pět dobových receptů za použití aktuálně dostupných ingrediencí. Proces přípravy pokrmů bude autorkou vyzkoušen a zdokumentován v celodenním experimentu. Pokrmy a stravovací návyky budou v souladu se zvyklostmi 50. let 20. století.
This study aims to present the everyday life of a housewife in the 1950s. The main focus will be on the process of eating in families and everything that is related to this process. The study will compare the publicly accepted image of this process and its concrete form in some households based on contemporary sources and literature. The work also includes an experimental part in which the author will attempt to prepare five period recipes using currently available ingredients. The process of preparing the dishes will be tested and documented by the author in a day-long experiment. The dishes and eating habits will be in line with the customs of the 1950s.
