dc.description.abstractIn the first chapter the theory of insurance fraud is described including its characteristics, segmentation and the causes for committing insurance frauds. Furthermore, the chapter describes development stages of the fight with insurance frauds on the level of both national and supra-national institutions. The second chapter deals with the information technologies (IT) used by insurance companies for sending up the insurance frauds. The third chapter includes choice descriptions of statistical figures conected with problems of insurance frauds. The fourth chapter describes the situation of insurance frauds in both the Czech and foreign insurace markets. The fifth chapter gives the characteristics of offenders and criminalistic procedures for investigation of this criminal activity, and the sixth chapter includes examples of insurance frauds. The last chapter comprises a practical part which contains the results of our study of circumstances under which this criminal activity is committed, especially the characteristics of offenders as per experience of Liberec criminalists.en
dc.description.abstractV první kapitole jsou popsány právní aspekty pojistného podvodu, jde především o charakteristiky, členění a příčiny páchání pojistných podvodů. Dále jsou zde popsány vývojové etapy boje s pojistnými podvody národních, ale i nadnárodních institucí. Druhá kapitola se zabývá informačními technologiemi používanými pojišťovnami pro odhalování pojistných podvodů. Třetí kapitola obsahuje vybrané statistické ukazatele k problematice pojistného podvodu. Čtvrtá kapitola popisuje situaci s pojistnými podvody na českém i zahraničním pojistném trhu. V páté kapitole jsou uvedeny charakteristiky pachatelů a kriminalistické postupy při vyšetřování této trestné činnosti, v šesté kapitole jsou pak uvedeny ukázky pojistných podvodů. Poslední kapitolu tvoří praktická část, ve které jsme sledovali okolnosti páchání této trestné činnosti, zejména charakteristiky pachatelů v praxi libereckých kriminalistů.cs
