Abstract
Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na moderní přístupy ve výuce zeměpisu, které
zdůrazňují význam praktických terénních zkušeností jako doplňku k tradičnímu teoretickému
vzdělávání. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat a rozvinout efektivní metody terénní výuky
zeměpisu, které umožňují studentům druhého stupně základních škol aplikovat a prohlubovat
své znalosti a dovednosti v reálném prostředí. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována oblastem
Novopacka a Lomnicka, které jsou pro autora práce významné osobními a rodinnými kořeny a
jsou geograficky zajímavé díky své poloze na rozmezí Krkonošského podhůří a Ještědskokozákovského
hřbetu. Tyto mikroregiony nabízejí unikátní možnosti pro pozorování a studium
fyzickogeografických a environmentálních jevů, včetně ochrany přírody a historického vývoje
oblasti. Práce kombinuje teoretické koncepty s praktickým terénním výzkumem a navrhuje
konkrétní výukové strategie pro integraci terénních zkušeností do vzdělávacího procesu, s cílem
posílit pochopení a angažovanost žáků ve studiu zeměpisu.
This thesis focuses on modern approaches in geography education that emphasize the importance of practical field experiences as a complement to traditional theoretical education. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse and develop effective methods of field-based geography teaching that enable second cycle primary school students to apply and deepen their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting. Particular attention is paid to the areas of Novopacko and Lomnicko, which are important for the author of the thesis for personal and family roots and are geographically interesting due to their location on the border of the Krkonoše and Ještědsko-kozákovský hřbet. These micro-regions offer unique opportunities for observation and study of physical, geographic and environmental phenomena, including nature conservation and historical development of the area. The work combines theoretical concepts with practical field research and proposes specific teaching strategies for integrating field experiences into the educational process, with the aim of enhancing students' understanding and engagement in geography studies.
