Abstract
Diplomová práce "TENZE" zkoumá téma napětí jako fyzického i symbolického fenoménu prostřednictvím tvorby textilního objektu, který kombinuje skleněná vlákna, betonové prvky
a textilní pleteniny. Cílem práce je vytvořit prostorovou instalaci, která propojuje výtvarné
a technologické přístupy a vyjadřuje křehkou rovnováhu mezi stabilitou a destrukcí.
Experimentální část práce se soustředí na materiálové zkoušky skleněných a čedičových vláken, jejich technologické zpracování a vývoj konstrukčních prvků, jako jsou splétané šňůry a zátažné pleteniny. Skleněná vlákna byla zvolena pro své estetické a funkční vlastnosti, které lépe odpovídaly konceptu napětí. Realizace objektu zahrnuje návrh zavěšovacího systému, pevnostní testy a řešení praktických výzev spojených s instalací a přepravou.
Výsledný objekt reflektuje nejen fyzické napětí v materiálech, ale také symbolickou rovinu, která odráží aktuální společenské a environmentální výzvy. Dílo propojuje technické inovace
s výtvarnou reflexí, a klade důraz na interdisciplinární přístup, který kombinuje materiálové experimenty s výtvarným myšlením.
The diploma thesis "TENSION" explores the concept of tension as both a physical and symbolic phenomenon through the creation of a textile object combining glass fibers, concrete elements, and textile knits. The aim of the work is to develop a spatial installation that integrates artistic and technological approaches, expressing the delicate balance between stability and destruction. The experimental part of the thesis focuses on material testing of glass and basalt fibers, their technological processing, and the development of structural elements, such as braided cords and weft knits. Glass fibers were chosen for their aesthetic and functional properties, which align more closely with the concept of tension. The realization of the object includes the design of a suspension system, strength testing, and addressing practical challenges related to installation and transportation. The resulting object reflects not only physical tension in materials but also a symbolic dimension that mirrors current social and environmental challenges. The work bridges technical innovation with artistic reflection, emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach that combines material experimentation with creative thinking.
