| dc.description.abstract | The bachelor´s dissertation deals with the subject of integration of the Roma people into the majority society from their own point of view and is based on the current situation of the Czech society where the subject of the integration is discussed with regard to the historical demandingness of this topic and to the growing nationalism and manifestation of racial and ethnic intolerance not only in the Czech Republic, but in the whole of Europe on the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The aim of the dissertation was to find out if the Roma people wish to be integrated. Another intention was to get a closer look at the abovegiven process from the Roma people´s perspective. The dissertation consists of two main areas. First of them was the theoretical part which describes, clarifies and explains the situation of the Roma population in the Czech region from the post war period after 1945 until the profound changes after 1989 by means of analysing and presenting specialised resources. The practical part surveyed the attitude of 70 Roma people from Kralupy nad Vltavou and Libčice nad Vltavou to the integrative processes by means of controled interview. The tested sample of population consisted of Roma people of different sexes, ages and education. The main conclusion of the research was the fact that the Roma strive for integration into the majority society and the term integration they most often perceive as {\clq}qcoexistence with majority society free of conflict``. Another priority in the understanding of integration is the employment opportunity. As the most important contribution of this dissertation with respect to its subject could be considered the positive attitude of the Roma minority to the solution of the problems connected with integration and the fact that especially the younger generations of the Roma are aware of the necessity of education, which is the precondition of the integrative processes. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou integrace Romů do majoritní společnosti z pohledu Romů samotných a vycházela ze současného stavu české společnosti, kdy se o problematice integrace hovoří především vzhledem k historické náročnosti tohoto tématu a vzhledem k rostoucímu nacionalismu a projevům rasové a etnické nesnášenlivosti nejen v české republice, ale v celé Evropě konce 20.století a na počátku 21. století. Jejím cílem bylo zjistit, zda Romové chtějí být integrováni. Dalším záměrem práce byl bližší pohled na výše uvedený proces integrace z pohledu samotných Romů. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o čst teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů popisovaa,objasňovala a zdůvodňovala situaci Romů v českých zemích od poválečného období roku 1945 až po výrazné změny po roce 1989. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí řízeného rozhovoru postoje 70 Romů z Kralup nad Vltavou a Libčic nad Vltavou k procesům integrace. Výzkumný vzorek populace tvořili Romové různého pohlaví, věku a vzdělání. Dominantním závěrem výzkumu se ukázal fakt, že Romové usilují o integraci do majoritní společnosti a pojem integrace nejčastěji chápou jako "společné bezkonfliktní soužití s majoritní společností. Další prioritou v chápání integrace je pracovní uplatnění. Za největší přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možno považovat pozitivní postoj romské menšiny k řešení problémů spojených s integrací a fakt, že zvláště mladší generace Romů chápou potřebu vzdělání, které je základní podmínkou integračních procesů. | cs |
