dc.description.abstractThe submitted study presents the phenomenon of divided cities which is closely connected with the Central European space and its historical and political issues, related to the specific environment of the town of Těšín (Český Těšín/Cieszyn). In the first chapter, the author focuses on the theoretical framework of the phenomenon of divided cities. Although it is an examined issue, there are many terminological ambiguities. In its other parts the article outlines geography and the complex history of the two times divided city and attempts to connect them with specific typology of divided cities. Apart from that, the author, due to his professional orientation, focuses mainly on the international, political, geopolitical and ethnic connections of Těšín and Těšínsko region. Attention is also paid to the functioning of Těšín within the European Union, which has long been trying to suppress the influence of national borders and feelings of historical injustice among European nations.en
dc.description.abstractDiese Studie zeigt dem Rezipienten das Phänomen zweier geteilter Städte, das mit dem mitteleuropäischen Raum und dessen historisch-politischen Realien eng verbunden ist, und zwar das ganz spezifische Milieu der Stadt Teschen (Český Těšín/Cieszyn). Im ersten Kapitel beschäftigt sich der Autor mit einer theoretischen Einschränkung des Phänomens der geteilten Städte, denn es handelt sich um eine Problematik, die zwar im europäischen Kontext untersucht wurde, die allerdings im Hinblick auf die Vielfalt von Terminen nicht immer als übersichtlich angesehen wird. In den weiteren Teilen macht der Autor die Rezipienten dieser Studie mit der Geographie und vor allem mit der ganz komplizierten Geschichte der zweimal geteilten Stadt bekannt und ist hierbei darum bemüht, Aspekte der Typologie geteilter Städten darauf zu applizieren. Im Hinblick auf seine Spezialisierung konzentriert sich der Autor dieser Studie vor allem auf die international-politischen, geopolitischen sowie ethnischen Aspekte und Zusammenhänge der Stadt und der Region Teschen. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Autors wird auch dem Fungieren der Region Teschen im Rahmen der Europäischen Union gewidmet, die sich aus langfristiger Sicht darum bemüht, den Einfluss der staatlichen Grenzen sowie Gefühle von historischem Leiden unter europäischen Nationen mit verschiedensten Mitteln zu schwächen.de
dc.description.abstractStudie čtenáři předkládá fenomén rozdělených měst, který je úzce propojen se středoevropským prostorem a jeho historicko-politickými reáliemi, vztažený na specifické prostředí města Těšína (Český Těšín/Cieszyn). V první kapitole se autor zaměřuje na teoretické vymezení fenoménu rozdělených měst, neboť jde o problematiku v evropském prostředí zkoumanou, ale vzhledem k množství termínů ne vždy přehlednou. V dalších částech studie nastiňuje geografii a složitou historii dvakrát rozděleného města, na níž se snaží aplikovat aspekty typologie rozdělených měst. Mimo to se autor, vzhledem ke svému odbornému zaměření, soustředí zejména na mezinárodně-politické, geopolitické a etnické souvislosti Těšína, resp. Těšínska. Pozornost je rovněž věnována fungování Těšína v rámci Evropské unie, jež se dlouhodobě snaží vliv státních hranic a pocity dějinných křivd mezi evropskými národy potlačovat.cs
dc.description.abstractOpracowanie przedstawia zjawisko podzielonych miast, które jest ściśle związane z obszarem środkowoeuropejskim i jego historyczno-politycznymi realiami. Zjawisko to zaprezentowano na przykładzie specyficznego miasta Cieszyn (Český Těšín/Cieszyn). W pierwszym rozdziale autor skupia się na teoretycznych ramach zjawiska podzielonych miast, gdyż wprawdzie jest to zagadnienie poddawane badaniom w środowisku europejskim, jednak ze względu na różnorodność terminologiczną nie zawsze klarowne. W kolejnych częściach opracowania przedstawiono geografię a przede wszystkim skomplikowaną historię dwukrotnie podzielonego miasta, próbując przedstawić aspekty typologii podzielonych miast. Oprócz tego autor skupia się w szczególności na aspektach międzynarodowo-politycznych, geopolitycznych i etnicznych Cieszyna i Ziemi Cieszyńskiej. Wskazano również funkcjonowanie Cieszyna w ramach Unii Europejskiej, która długofalowo stara się niwelować wpływ granic państwowych i poczucie historycznych krzywd wśród europejskich narodów.pl
