Abstract
Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu migrace a konstrukce jiného. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy spojené s migrací,její typy, teorie a historie. Dále se práce zaměřuje na to, jakým způsobem mohou ovlivňovat vnímání skutečnosti média. V rámci praktické části bylo provedeno výzkumné šetření prostřednictvím kvantitativně - kvalitativní metodologie. Šetření proběhlo mezi žáky 8. a 9. tříd základních škol. Cílem šetření je zmapovat povědomí respondentů o migraci a souvisejících fenoménech a následně analyzovat způsoby, jakými vnímají a konstruují jinakost etnicky či nábožensky odlišných skupin. V závěru práce byla provedena korelace mediálního vyobrazení migranta a dětských kreseb.
This diploma thesis deals with the theme of migration and the construction of the differences. The theoretical part explains the basic terms associated with migration, types, theories and history. It also focuses on media and their impact on perception of reality. in the practical part the survey was done using quantitative and qualitative research methods. The survey dealt with eight - grade and ninth - grade pupils from primary schools. The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the respondents awareness of migration and related phenomena. The main goals is to analyse the way in which they perceive and construct the otherness of ethnically or religiously different groups. In conclusion, the correlation of media and child portrayal of migrant was performed.
