Abstract
Cílem této práce je analýzou návodů v science centru iQLANDIA doložit metaforičnost jazyka a myšlení, tedy potvrdit základní tezi kognitivní lingvistiky. Návody jsou žánrem odborného stylu, práce s nimi umožňuje využití heuristické metody ve výuce asoučasně směřuje k rozvoji čtenářské gramotnosti. Analýzou vybraných návodů jsou představeny charakteristické rysy heuristické metody a je hodnocena stavba textů z hlediska prakticky odborného stylu. Pozornost se předně soustředí na metaforičnost vyjadřování v návodech, jsou představeny nejfrekventovanější typy užitých metafor, čímž je ilustrováno hojné zastoupení metafor v odborném stylu. Na konkrétních návodech je doloženo, že metafory jsou součástí našeho myšlení, že nebrání porozumění textů, naopak ho většinou usnadňují.
The aim of this thesis is to support metaphoric ability of the language and thinking with the analysis of manuals in the iQLANDIA science centre and thus confirm the basic principle of cognitive linguistics. The manuals are technical and thus allow the usage of heuristic method in teaching and lead to the development of reading skills as well. The characteristics of heuristic method are introduced by the analysis of selected manuals and the structure of the text is evaluated from the perspective of its technical style. The focus is primarily on metaphors in the manuals, which are shown by their most frequent examples. This illustrates their frequent occurrence in technical style. It is proven on concrete examples that metaphors are part of our thinking and that they do not hinder understanding of a text but the opposite, they mostly ease it.
