Abstract
První část diplomové práce se zabývá fungováním jména a jeho funkcí v systému kultury. Postihuje různé formy jména, způsoby jejich získávání, důvody udělování a jejich důsledky. Popisuje také vývoj jmen u nás. Druhá část mapuje současný stav preferencí rodných jmen a faktory ovlivňující jejich výběr. Vhlíží také, pomocí dotazníků u žáků druhého stupně základních škol (12-15 let), do vztahu nositelů ke svému jménu a ptá se na žádoucnost zákonné regulace volby a užívání rodných jmen. Třetí část navrhuje projektový den na téma jméno pro šestou třídu druhého stupně ZŠ.
The first part of the diploma thesis deals with functioning of the name and its functions in system of culture. Affects various forms of names, ways of acquiring, reasons for awarding and its consequences. Moreover the thesis describes the evolution of names in our culture. The second part describes the current state of given names preferences and factors influencing choose of the name. It also deals with the relation between holders of the name and the name itself - by using questionnaires for students in elementary school (12-15 years). The questionnaire asks for the desirability of statutory regulation of election and the usage of given names. The third part suggests a "project day" focused on the name topic for the sixth grade of the elementary school.
