Abstract
Tato práce čtenáři přibližuje fungování militantní organizace Ku-Klux-Klan. Téma je zasazeno do širšího kontextu politického extremismu a rasismu. Text si všímá historických fází vývoje organizace a měnících se motivací a principů fungování. Zároveň popisuje sociální hierarchii v organizaci a představuje její nejvýznamnější lídry. V práci nalezneme i svědectví lidí, kteří se s Ku-Klux-Klanem setkali tváří v tvář, ať už byla důvodem snaha ukončení činnosti organizace, či podat co nejpřesnější svědectví v rámci profesního přesvědčení.
This work brings the reader closer to the workings of the Ku-Klux-Klan militant organization. The theme is set in a broader context of political extremism and racism. The text notes the historical stages of the organization's evolution and changing motivations and operating principles. It also describes the social hierarchy in the organization and represents its most important leaders. The work also finds testimonies from people who met face-to-face with the Ku-Klux-Klan, whether the reason was to try to shut down the organization or to give the most accurate testimony within the framework of professional beliefs.
