Abstract
Práce zkoumá historický moment odpoutání tapisérie od stěny v kontextu uměleckých proměn 20. století. Analyzuje, jak změny v chápání prostoru a prázdna, spolu s činností institucí jako Bauhaus a bienále v Lausanne, umožnily transformaci tapisérie z dekorativního média v autonomní uměleckou formu. Práce se zaměřuje na vztah mezi tradičními technikami a novými přístupy k prostorovému vyjádření. V praktické části vzniklo šest autorských tapiserií využívajících principy prázdných míst a experimentu na tkalcovském stavu.
The thesis explores the pivotal moment in the 20th century when tapestry broke away from the wall, reflecting broader artistic transformations of the period. It examines how changing perceptions of space and emptiness, along with the influence of institutions like the Bauhaus and the Lausanne Biennale, contributed to the evolution of tapestry from a decorative medium to an autonomous art form. The research highlights the relationship between traditional weaving techniques and innovative approaches to spatial expression. The practical component presents six original tapestries, incorporating the principles of empty space and experimental loom techniques.
