Abstract
The goal of this bachelor work is to put near the management and the basics of accounting of the municipalities and to uncover the biggest differences in comparising with the accounting of the business firms. The work should make the control of municipal management clear and emphasize the most important legislation that regulate this field. The work is devided in theoretical part and practical part. The practical part is centred on the management of the town Nová Paka in the year 2004. This part deals with the budget of the town and the structure of budget and it describes the process and results of the audit.
Cílem práce je přiblížit hospodaření a základy účetnictví územních samosprávných celků a odkrýt největší rozdíly při porovnání s účetnictvím podnikatelských subjektů. Objasnit kontrolu hospodaření obcí a zdůraznit nejdůležitější zákony, které tuto oblast regulují. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část.Praktická část je zaměřena na hospodaření obce Nová Paka v roce 2004. Zabývá se jejím rozpočtem a jeho složením a popisuje průběh a výsledky kontroly hospodaření města.
