Abstract
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá Čechy v rumunském Banátu a jejich způsobem života. Práce vychází z výsledků terénních výzkumů, které se opakovaně uskutečnily v průběhu tří let. Při výzkumu bylo kromě pozorování využito metody orální historie. Vybraní narátoři pocházejí z původních českých vesnic Svatá Helena, Gerník a Rovensko. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje především na odlišnosti v kultuře, náboženství a jazyce mezi jednotlivými českými vesnicemi v rumunské části Banátu.
This diploma thesis focuses on Czechs living in the Romanian area of Banat, as well as their way of life. The work is based on the results of on-site research sessions conducted during a period of three years. The research was performed using observations as well as methods of oral history. The selected narrators come from indigenous Czech villages of Saint Helena, Gârnic and Ravensca. The thesis highlights cultural, religious and linguistic differences between the individual Czech villages in the Romanian part of Banat.
