Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá etickými aspekty vegetariánství a veganství. Představuje teorie ekologické etiky, ze kterých vycházejí myšlenky na ochranu zvířat a přírody, a jejich hlavní představitele. Uvádí aktuální vysvětlení pojmů vegetariánství a veganství, jejich stručný historický vývoj nebo možné typy vegetariánů a veganů v současnosti. Část práce je věnována organizacím podporujícím tyto životní styly a etickou ochranu zvířat. Práce také analyzuje vliv určitých zjištěných faktů souvisejících s živočišnou produkcí na etickou stránku vegetariánství a veganství.
The BA thesis deals with ethical aspects of vegetarianism and veganism. It introduces theories of ecological ethics, their main ideas about animal rights and protection of nature and the main representatives. It interprets the concept of the vegetarianism and veganism, their history and types. The part of the thesis is focused on organizations helping protect animals and supporting vegetarian and vegan lifestyle. The thesis analyzes how animal production influences ethical ideas of vegetarianism and veganism.
