Abstract
Diplomová práca sa venuje problematike sociálnej práce s menšinami, v užšom zameraní na sociálnu prácu s rómskou menšinou. Cieľom práce bolo identifikovať špecifiká a determinnaty práce s danou cieľovou skupinou. Text práce je členený na teoretickú a empirickú časť. Teoretická časť práce sa na podklade informácií z odborných zdrojov pokúsila nastíniť aspekty a okolnosti sociálnej práce s klientami s kultúrne odlišného prostredia, za využitia optiky ekosociálneho prístupu. Empirická časť sa snažila prostredníctvom kvalitatívneho výskumného šetrenia, odkryť špecifiká a determinanty práce s danou cieľovou skupinou z pohľadu sociálnych pracovníkov. Z výpovedí respondentov možno konštatovať, že práca s rómskymi klientami vykazuje niekoľko determinujúcich a špecifických znakov. Na základe tohoto zistenia bolo zvolené aj zameranie doporučení pre prax, ktoré boli nasmerované k príprave sociálnych pracovníkov na prácu s touto špecifickou cieľovou skupinou klientov. Za najväčší prínos práce je možno považovať fakt, že poukazuje na prítomnosť okolností , ktoré môžu vystupovať ako úspešnosť limitujúce faktory.
This diploma thesis deals with problems of social work with minorities with the narrow focus on social work with the Romani minority. The goal was to identify specifics and determinants of work with the given target group. The diploma is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is based on the information from expert sources and tries to outline the aspects and circumstances of social work with clients of different cultural background using the eco-social approach. Through qualitative research, the empirical part tries to identify specifics and determinants of work with the given target group based on the view of social workers. The respondents' answers conclude that work with the Romani clients exhibits a number of determinants and specific characteristics. Based on the findings, selected recommendations were presented which were directed to prepare social workers to work with this specific target group of clients. The diploma´s biggest contribution is the fact that it indicates the presence of circumstances that may act as a success limiting factors.
