Abstract
Diplomová práce přibližuje čtenářům problematiku alternativních investic a klade si za cíl seznámit čtenáře s tímto specifickým trhem. Konkrétně pojednává o investicích do diamantů, drahých kovů, umění a vína. Nejprve jsou zde investice popsány z teoretického hlediska, dále jsou vyjmenovány jejich jednotlivé druhy a metody hodnocení a nakonec je objasněn průběh investičního procesu. Další část z praktického hlediska popisuje vybrané, výše jmenované alternativy. Je zde uvedena jejich základní charakteristika, příklady investičních instrumentů, možnosti investování v České republice a jejich vztah k současné hospodářské krizi. Poté následuje případová studie s portfoliem konkrétních typů investorů. Závěrečná část se věnuje shrnutí celé problematiky a budoucímu vývoji na trzích těchto netradičních investic.
This thesis covers the issues of alternative investments and their specific markets in general as well as in detail. It disserts on investments in diamonds, precious metals, art and wine. In the first part the investments are described from the theoretical viewpoint, these are being discussed in detail concerning particular types of investments and finally there is a depiction of investment process. Next part practically describes selected alternatives. There is an introduction of their essential characteristics, examples of investment instruments, possibilities of investments in the Czech Republic and their relation to current economic crisis. After that follows the case study of model investor´s portfolios. The concluding part attends to the issue summary and to the future market development of these unconventional investment instruments.
