Abstract
Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout kultovní a alternativní parkovací věž v centru Hong Kongu. Nová věž bude obsahovat prostory pro konání různých akcí, jako jsou například koncerty, výstavy, módní přehlídky, slavnostní večeře, filmové projekce atd. Nové vícepodlažní parkoviště bude tvořit novou bránu k finančnímu centru Hong Kongu. Věž se nachází v ulici Connaught Road Central v přední části budovy AIA a není daleko od Bank of China od architekta I.M.Peie.
The aim of the thesis is to design an iconic and Alternative Car Park Tower in the heart of Hong Kong. The new tower will include several possibilities for events such as concerts, art exhibitions, fashion shows, ceremonies dinners, cinematic projections, etc. The new multi-storey car park will form a new gateway to Hong Kong´s finantial centre. The Tower will be located on the 1st Connaught Road Central, in front of the AIA central building and not far away from the iconic Bank of China designed by the architect Mr Pei.
