Abstract
Tématem této bakalářské práce je religiózně-geografická analýza buddhismu v České republice. V teoretické části jsou představeny nejpodstatnější dějiny tohoto náboženství, jeho základní směry a současné rozšíření. Dále je práce zaměřena pouze na Českou republiku a podrobněji poté na Liberec, Prahu a Varnsdorf z důvodů, které jsou vysvětleny v jednotlivých kapitolách práce. Součástí práce je analýza statistických údajů ze Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů v letech 2001 a 2011. V práci jsou také probírána nejdůležitější buddhistická centra České republiky s hlubším zaměřením na ta, která jsem osobně navštívila a pro popis využila nabytých dojmů a informací přímo od zainteresovaných osob.
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is religiously-geographic analysis of Buddhism in the Czech Republic. In theoretical part, the most essential history of this religion is introduced, as well as its basic denominations and current spread. Subsequently, the thesis focuses solely on the Czech Republic, in more detail on Liberec, Prague and Varnsdorf, for reasons given in their respective chapters of the thesis. The thesis contains an analysis of data from the 2001 and 2011 Czech Statistical Office censuses. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the most relevant Buddhist centres in the Czech Republic, with more attention given to those which I have personally visited. For their description, I have used my personal impressions along with information obtained from people directly involved.
