The design of the 3D printer for use in gastronomy

Abstract
The research presented in this article deals with the design of appropriate technology and with an implementation of the structural design of the 3D printer for use in gastronomy. A printer concept of RepRap open source project was used and completed with own solution of the extrusion head for printing with chocolate. Chocolate was chosen since it can be easily converted by heat into a plastic-like material and displaced through an extruder on a substrate. Thanks to that, you can print business cards made of chocolate, pralines in shape of whatever the customer desires, or portraits. The printer can also be used for other materials, such as different toppings on cakes, or very complicated structures that would not be possible to create without using 3D printing.
