V první části teoretické je uvedena problematika kolorektálního karcinomu (charakteristika, rizikové faktory, příznaky, klasifikace, diagnostika, léčba, prognóza) a druhá část je věnována screeningu a jeho obecné charakteristice, jsou zde uvedeny možnosti screeningu kolorektálního karcinomu.Výzkumná část se zabývá znalostí a účastí respondentů na screeningovém vyšetření kolorektálního karcinomu, získané výsledky výzkumného šetření byli zjištěny z nestandardizovaného (originálního) dotazníku a porovnány.
