Abstract
Tato diplomová práce zkoumá dvě díla moderní literatury ?Americképsycho od Breta Eastona Ellise a The Death of Bunny Munro (knihanemá český překlad) od Nicka Cavea. Cílem je zaměřit se na to, jakýmzpůsobem je vytvořena postava misogynního muže i to, jak takovýhlavní hrdina zapadá do konceptu postmodernismu a do obrázkupostmoderního literárního hrdiny.
This thesis researches two modern pieces of literature ? AmericanPsycho by Bret Easton Ellis and The Death of Bunny Munro by NickCave. The aim is to focus on how the misogynist male character iscreated, the way in which such a character fulfils the idea ofpostmodernism and how he/she corresponds with the concept of thepostmodernist hero.
