Abstract
Bakalářská práce mapuje dobu válek růží a životy královen, které v té době v Anglii vládly. V první části práce je čtenář uveden do problematiky konfliktu a seznámen s klasickým popisem válek růží, tak jak je zaznamenáván v publikacích o daném tématu stejně tak jako téma královen a jejich vlády. V další části práce jsou jedna po druhé představeny královny seřazené podle doby jejich vlády. Je popsán život, který vedly jak v době konfliktu, tak před ním či po něm, a proto je možné porovnat, jak se o nich zmiňuje obecná kapitola, a jak se v kapitole o jejich životě liší jejich skutečná pozice oproti té běžně uváděné. Zda královny skutečně měly nějakou moc či snad vůbec žádnou, je zhodnoceno v závěru bakalářské práce.
This bachelor thesis is mapping the period of the Wars of the Roses as well as the lives of queens who ruled England in that period. The first part of this thesis leads the reader into the problems caused by this conflict and informs about the Wars of the Roses itself and the queens as well as their reign how it is published in the publications related to this topic. The next part confirms the description of every single queen arranged accordind to the peirod of their reign. It focuses also on their lives during the conflict as well as before of after that period; therefore, it is possible to compare the facts mentioned in the first part of the thesis to those mentioned in the second part and say whether they are any differencies between the real and the official roles. The last part of this thesis increases the value of the real role of the queens comparing to its importance for the period of their reign.
