Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá znvouvystavěním a doplněním centra Opavy, které bylo výrazně narušeno stavbou obchodního domu Slezanka a přilehlé kancelářské budovy na konci 60. let. Počítá s demolicí těchto dvou budov a vystavěním nové severovýchodní hrany Horního náměsti a zástavbou přilehlého vnitrobloku. Práce se rovněž zabývá témetem vylidňování městského centra a problémy, které s ním souvisí. Předmětem práce je urbanistický návrh zmíněných prostor a detailní řešení dvou vybraných domů utvářejících novou hranu náměstí.
The bachelor thesis engages the rebuilding and completion of the centre of the city of Opava, which has been devalued by the construction of the shopping centre Slezanka and the contiguous office building at the end of 1960s. The project is dealing with the demolition of those two buildings and the rebuilding the new edge of the main square and also the building up contiguous courtyard. The project is also engages the theme of the depopulation of the city center and related problems. The subject of the bachelor thesis is the urban design of the mentioned area as well as detailed architectural solution of the two building at the edge of the square.
