Abstract
Varixy dolních končetin jsou stále aktuálním tématem, počet pacientů s tímto onemocněním, vzhledem k životnímu stylu, neustále stoupá. Toto onemocnění se řadí mezi civilizační choroby. Postihuje všechny věkové kategorie, ale s věkem se výskyt zvyšuje. Uvádí se, že varixy dolních končetin se vyskytují u 50 % dospělé populace. Úloha všeobecné sestry v edukaci pacienta s varixy dolních končetin je nezbytná. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část se zabývá varixy dolních končetin, ošetřovatelskou péčí a edukací pacienta s žilním onemocněním. Výzkumná část se zabývá informovaností pacientů s onemocněním varixů dolních končetin.
Varicose vein of lower limbs are still hot topic, number of patients with this disease is continuously rising due to their life style. This disease belongs to the civilization diseases. It affects all age categories, but incidence increases with age. It says, that varicose vein of lower limbs occur at 50% of the adult population. The role of nurses in education of patient with varicose vein of lower limbs is necessary. Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part deals with varicose vein of lower limbs, nursing care and education of patients with venous illness of lower limbs. Research part deals with awareness of patients with venous illness of lower limbs.
