Abstract
Následující článek představuje život a dílo pražského rodáka Bernarda Bolzana. Pozornost bude věnována zejména dílu Paradoxy nekonečna, které se v roce 2021 dočkalo 170. výročí svého prvního vydání.
This article is a reminder of the significant mathematician and Prague native Bernard Bolzano, whose crucial work Paradoxes of the Infinite has in 2021 already 170th anniversary of its first edition. The article deals not only with the piece of work itself, which significantly contributed to the current perception of infinity, but mainly with the live journey of Bernard Bolzano, which led him to this work.
