Abstract
Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je popsat, jaké činnosti jsou využívány k udržení
a rozvíjení schopností seniorů a zjistit, jak probíhá aktivizace seniorů ve vybraném Domově pro seniory v Libereckém kraji. Vychází z teoretických i praktických znalostí z dané oblasti.
Teoretická část předkládá teoretická východiska z oblasti gerontologie, psychologie, sociálních služeb a popisuje aktivizační činnosti seniorů.
Empirická část je zaměřena na kvantitativní výzkumnou strategii, sleduje možnosti aktivizace v daném zařízení a aktivity, které v praxi klienti sociální služby využívají. Cílem je zmapovat, jak tyto aktivity přispívají k udržení či rozvíjení schopností seniorů, a to zejména z jejich pohledu. Výstupem práce je přehled nejčastěji praktikovaných aktivizačních činností v konkrétním domově pro seniory a spokojenost respondentů s těmito aktivitami. Výstupem jsou také nové aktivity, které by bylo vhodné díky poptávce zavést do praxe.
The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to describe what activities are used to maintain and develop the abilities of the elderly and to find out how the stimulation of the elderly takes place in a selected Home for the Elderly in the Liberec Region. It is based on theoretical and practical knowledge in the given field. The theoretical part presents theoretical foundations from the field of gerontology, psychology and social services and describes stimulating activities for the elderly. The empirical part focuses on the quantitative research strategy, the possibilities of stimulation in the given facility and the activities used in practice by social service clients. The aim is to map how these activities contribute to the maintenance or development of the abilities of the elderly, especially from their perspective. The output of the thesis is an overview of the most frequently practiced stimulating activities in the Home for the Elderly and the respondents' satisfaction with these activities. The output also includes new activities that should be put into practice due to the demand.
