Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem československých motocyklů v běžném životě obyvatel v letech 1945-1964. Práce vychází z rozhovorů s pamětníky, dobových motoristických periodik a studia odborné literatury. Cílem práce je zmapovat fenomén motocyklu v každodenním životě obyvatel. Práce je rozdělena do sedmi kapitol. V nich je rozebrána politická situace v Československu, vývoj motocyklů a jejich dostupnost. Postupně se věnuje vývoji trhu s motocykly od poválečného nedostatku, přes nové modely v padesátých letech, po konec jejich slávy v letech šedesátých. Na závěr se pak práce zabývá zahraničními motoristy a jejich zájmem o československé stroje.
The bachelor's thesis deals with the topics of Czechoslovak motorcycles in the everyday life of the inhabitants in the years 1945-1964. The work is based on interviews with witnesses, contemporary motoring periodicals and a study of specialist literature. The aim of the work is to map the motorcycle phenomenon in the everyday life of the inhabitants. The work is divided into seven chapters. They discuss the political situation in Czechoslovakia, the development of motorcycles and their availability. It gradually covers the development of the motorcycle market from the post-war shortage, through the new models in the 1950s, after the end of their glory in the 1960s. Finally, the work deals with foreign motorists and their interest in Czechoslovak machines.
